What can we explore in a session? Sessions are guided by what matters most to you. Whether you're navigating mental health challenges, experiencing grief or loss, moving through life transitions, or seeking personal growth, this is a space to explore whatever feels important.

Types of therapies? I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring each session to suit your individual needs. These include Client-Centred Therapy, Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Counselling and many, many more.

​What to Expect

Beginning counselling can feel like a big step.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive

—just coming as you are is enough.

First session – Getting to know you - Our first session is a gentle space to talk about what’s been going on for you. We’ll explore what’s bringing you in, your experiences, and what you might be needing right now. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Ongoing sessions – Exploring and understanding - As we continue, we’ll begin to explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns more deeply. Together, we’ll make sense of your experiences, helping you gain clarity and insight into what may be holding you back or feeling overwhelming.

 

Supporting change and growth – Our work may involve developing coping strategies, processing past experiences, strengthening boundaries, or reconnecting with your sense of self. Each session is guided by your needs and what feels most important to you.

 

Moving forward – Over time, many clients begin to feel more grounded, clear, and confident. We’ll check in regularly to ensure our work feels helpful and supportive for you.
